  THE WAY WE WORK...

There is no magic in financial planning. It builds on the basic principles of what is generally regarded as "the planning process":

· Where are you now?

· Where do you want to be?

· How do you get there?

When one has as an objective, a retirement free of financial concerns, those rather simplistic questions merely set up broad guidelines. Retirement planning focuses on all the psychological and financial factors which may have an impact on an individual's financial goals and objectives. In short, retirement planning provides a long-term strategy, born out of an analysis of every aspect of an individual's current financial situation and structured to achieve long-term personal and financial goals.

The firm's name clearly defines our areas of experience and expertise. As a result of that single focus, a retirement planning process has evolved which includes:

THE PRESENT

Collect and assess all relevant personal and financial data. Such information would include lists of assets and liabilities, expenses, tax returns, insurance policies, wills, trusts, pension plans, etc.

THE FUTURE

Establish realistic financial and personal goals and objectives. The role of Retirement Planners, Inc. is to help clarify financial and personal values and attitudes.

POTENTIAL ROADBLOCKS

It is essential that financial problems which create barriers to financial independence be identified. Once identified, solutions can be sought.

RESEARCH AND ANALYSIS

Following the data-gathering, the planning counselor begins to build the framework of a personal, customized financial plan.

On-going, in-house research provides exposure to current trends, emerging investment vehicles, newly adopted laws and regulations and a host of other variables which may impact the final recommendation.

A thorough analysis of the needs, wants and desires of the client, when joined with the equally thorough analysis of the financial options available, creates the framework and a plan begins to emerge.

CREATE PLAN AND IMPLEMENT

The length of the plan and document will vary with the complexity of each individual situation. The constant in this scenario is the requirement that the plan be structured to meet the individual's total needs and objectives. It is at this point that Retirement Planners, Inc. parts company with other financial consultants. Years of focusing exclusively on the retirement planning process have developed an acute sensitivity to the oft-neglected emotional and psychological components of the final plan. We believe that these are critical for successful implementation.

The role of Retirement Planners Inc. is to provide counsel and guidance; the decision to implement, modify, or reject the plan recommendations is the sole responsibility of the client.

REVIEW AND REVISE

One cannot predict changes in personal or economic conditions. It is essential, when called for, to conduct periodic reviews of the plan and implement revisions. Such periodic reviews are an inherent part of the service of Retirement Planners, Inc.

THE WAY WE MARKET...

The bulk of our existing clients are as a result of seminar presentations, hosted by major corporations in Chicagoland, on a variety of financial topics geared to assist soon-to-be or current retirees.

Referrals by existing clients represent a major source of new clients. The trust in our services, inherent in such referrals, is a source of great pride within the organization. We continually strive to maintain that trust.

RPI's commitment to excellence has earned them a solid base of clients that has been expanded through referrals. RPI's goal is to help people retire successfully and worry-free, with every financial consideration carefully planned
